The University of Tokyo and Seikei University jointly conducted of an automatic transport system at the field of SK Material Corporation.

March 25, 2024, we conducted a public demonstration on the field of SK material co. at Agano in Saitama for automation of crushed stone transportation. We were able to demonstrate the necessary system configuration and confirm the effectiveness of the technology for the task of scooping up piles of crushed stone and putting them into an inlet. The photos show the field environment, Sensor (LiDAR installed at the field) and driving trajectory of the automated transport trip from the pile of crushed stone.
