Demonstration on lunar construction works using small robotic platforms.
On July 6, five different types of small robotic platforms developed by Keio University, Nara Institute of Science and Technology, and Kyushu Institute of Technology demonstrated proof-of concepts for lunar construction works, including soil investigation, bulldozing/compaction, rock detection and mining, and resilience-based mobility. The demonstration was held at the JAXA space test field located at Sagamihara, Japan.
