Experimental tests on robotic mobility and construction works
On March 14 and 15, 2023, we successfully completed various robotic experiments towards the construction of lunar infrastructure. Twenty-five researchers, engineers, and students from JAXA, Keio University, Nara Institute of Science and Technology, and Kyushu Institute of Technology got together at the JAXA space test field located at Sagamihara, Japan, and conducted several tests, including mobility, rock excavation, and earthmoving works using five different types of robotic platforms.
