We developed a method for evaluating stiffness of compacted ground using distributed sensor pod.

We developed a sensor terminal with multiple and various sensors named sensor pod, which collects various environmental information at a construction site. The sensor pod is equipped with a 3D-LiDAR and a vibration sensor, which can be used to predict the surrounding hazards and evaluate the ground stiffness. In addition, we developed a method of evaluating  stiffness of compacted ground using the waveform distortion of multi-point synchronized vibration data obtained by the distributed sensor pods.
